What is our response to the political and social turmoil of our times? An epic day of music, art, and speakers; an educational platform that will without a doubt combine passion for raising humanity with political activism and solutions-based discussion led by experts in the political field. The 2015 United We Stand Festival stands as a testament to the determination and spirit of mankind in the face of adversity. The festival will help grow the grassroots community against the splintering effects of failed domestic and foreign policies stemming from a largely inefficient and biased electoral system.
The speakers and talent from #UWSFest draw upon decades of first-hand experience in the spirit of peaceful, powerful, and effective movements of the people, for the people. As John F. Kennedy once stated to a once concerned and ambivalent nation, “Our problems are manmade–therefore, they can be solved by man. And man can be as big as he wants. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings. Man’s reason and spirit have often solved the seemingly unsolvable–and we believe they can do it again”. We can do it again but only if we stand united, only if we come together as a nation and demand true, fundamental change in governmental policies.
The 2015 United We Stand Festival will be a launching point for the 2016 election season where the Free and Equal Elections Foundation will release a series of engaging and educational initiatives including Symposiums, Open Debates, Elections Assistant App, and many more. Where there are educated, empowered, and motivated voters, real change can occur. The Free and Equal Elections Foundation hopes to lead that change and influence electoral reform to ensure the political mechanisms remain fair and unbiased, establishing a lasting, liberty-oriented environment for many generations to enjoy.
